China unveils world's longest high-speed railway line

China unveiled the world’s longest high-speed railway route which is speculated to cover a distance of 1,428 miles in mere eight hours! The new service began on Wednesday, linking the nation’s capital in Beijing all the way to the country’s south eastern town of Guangzhou. The recent development once again proves China’s meteoric rise in the field of railway technology and certainly is a stepping stone in the nation’s most ambitious infrastructure projects, a network of four north-south routes and four east-west routes that span the country.
