Wednesday, May 30, 2012 - The annual Firefly Festival is slated to run from June 8th through June 16th in Muju-gun County, Jeollabuk-do Province.
Kicking off with an opening ceremony, the festival will present a fireworks show, street parade, and wide range of arts and crafts programs including woodcraft, natural dyeing and pottery throughout the festival period. Also, the popular Fireflies Exploration program will return to take participants on a nighttime expedition for observing and feeding the fireflies in their natural habitat.
