Summer has officially begun at Newcastle International Airport as airlines and tour operators begin their busy summer schedules from the region’s largest airport.Nearly 3 million passengers will pass through the airport between May and October this year with 865,000 passengers travelling on charter services to popular holiday destinations.
The summer season at Newcastle begins in early May and will see over 120 charter flights a week fly off to a wide range of sunny holiday destinations. This is in addition to the existing range of scheduled and low cost routes planned to operate this summer.
