Travel industry boom in Louisville, Kentucky

The boom in travel industry can be gauged by the recent study released by the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau which reports that tourists spent nearly $355 million on lodging in 2011. Only tourists’ spending on food and beverages ($378.5 million) outpaced expenditures on hotels during that year.
