Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) launches the "Tourism Awareness Campaign" again and cooperates with local associations to organize activities. It is estimated that one fifth of Macau citizens will participate in the activities. The purpose of the campaign is to educate citizens about awareness of tourism in a widespread and effective way in order to upgrade tourism resource quality together and create a friendly tourism environment in harmony with the Macau SAR's strategic goal of building a "World Centre of Tourism and Leisure".
