Aeronautics and Nuclear power


Japan is a name to reckon with when it comes to aerospace research and space exploration. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) conducts space and planetary research, aviation research along with development of rockets and satellites. The latest and the most powerful of their rockets happen to be H-IIB, capable of carrying 8-ton payload. The Japanese Experiment Module was founded and added to the International Space Station during Space Shuttle assembly flights in 2007 and 2008. The future plans in space exploration include: launching a space probe to Venus, developing the Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter and building a moon base by 2030.
