Accolades in the field of Automobile Technology

Japan has been experimenting with MAGLEV trains or magnetically levitated trains that float
above the track on a cushion generated by superconducting magnet since 1962 and one such has
been built in Shanghai. This fastest train in the world runs at a speed of 581 km per hours. The
maglev linear engines operate as a result of an interaction between superconducting magnets on
the trains and track.
