From its hubs in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam, Saudia operates a comprehensive network throughout the Arabian Peninsula, the Indian Subcontinent and Northern Africa. Saturday, June 02, 2012 - Malaysia’s first Airbus A380, the new flagship aircraft and pride of Malaysia Airlines, touched down at KL International Airport.
The first of the sixth A380 ordered by Malaysia Airlines, departed on its maiden journey from Toulouse, France yesterday and arrived safely on schedule in KLIA.
The aircraft was commanded by a team of technical crew comprising Captain Norshid Ali, Captain Mohd Seth Mohd Ariff, Captain Joseph Emuang Jr and Captain Sumar Lee Hashim Lee. Also on board, was a delegation comprising representatives of Airbus and senior Malaysia Airlines executives lead by its Group Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya.

Lufthansa launched customer for the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental, initiated commercial service of the new Jumbo jet along the inaugural route of Frankfurt (FRA) to Washington, D.C.’s Dulles International Airport (IAD). Flight LH416 departed Frankfurt at 9:50am and is scheduled to touchdown at Dulles at 12:45pm. In addition to regularly scheduled passengers, guests include Dr. Christoph Franz, Lufthansa’s CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, and Elizabeth Lund, Boeing vice president and general manager, 747 Program, who are joined by a delegation consisting of U.S. and International media, esteemed customers and partners.

Friday, June 01, 2012 - A massive 450,000 French commuters are seeing a gigantic poster of the Giant’s Causeway each day as they pass through the Gare Saint Lazare in Paris, Europe’s second busiest railway station.
Just in time for this summer’s opening of the new, world-class visitor centre at the Giant’s Causeway, Tourism Ireland has placed a huge image of the Giant’s Causeway in the iconic rotunda of the St Lazare station – grabbing the attention of commuters with the spectacular scene and reminding them why they should put the Causeway Coast and Northern Ireland on their holiday wish-list for 2012.
Japan Airlines will be introducing its domestic JAL First Class service on a portion of daily flights between Tokyo, Haneda and Okinawa, Naha from August 1, 2012. Reservations and sales begin June 1, 2012.
JAL currently offers First Class service on routes between Haneda and Sapporo, Fukuoka and Osaka.
